Galaxy — 3D Consciousness Network Visualization

Explore the entire HYVE Tribe community as an interactive 3D star map.

Galaxy is HYVE Tribe's community visualization — a real-time 3D star map showing every member of the community as a point in consciousness space. Clusters form around tier cohorts, archetypes, and shared practices. Zoom, pan, and search to find kindred spirits, psi clusters, and your own place in the galaxy.

How to explore the Galaxy

  1. 1

    Load the galaxy view

The galaxy loads as a 3D field of stars, each representing one HYVE Tribe member. Colors and positions are derived from their perception dimension scores.

  2. 2

    Find yourself

Press the "find me" button to locate your own star. Your position reflects where you sit in consciousness space relative to everyone else.

  3. 3

    Navigate the space

Click and drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, middle-click to pan. Touch gestures work on mobile and tablets.

  4. 4

    Explore clusters

Clusters of stars represent groups of users with similar dimension profiles — tier cohorts, archetypes, practice groups. Hover a star to see an anonymous summary.

  5. 5

    Connect with kindred spirits

Find stars near your own and, if their profile is public, visit their Tribe profile or send a connection request. This is how new friendships form on HYVE Tribe.

Features

Real-time community map

Shows every active HYVE Tribe member as a 3D point, updated in near real time as new members join and tiers shift.

Dimension-space projection

Positions are computed from perception dimension scores using a dimensionality-reduction algorithm (UMAP-style).

Color-coded archetypes

Each star is colored by its archetype — mystic, scientist, empath, warrior, oracle — for visual pattern recognition.

Cluster detection

Visible clusters form around tiers, archetypes, and shared practices. Cluster labels appear at appropriate zoom levels.

Find-me feature

One-click to locate your own star and see your consciousness neighborhood.

Anonymous summaries

Hovering a star shows an anonymous profile summary. Full profiles are only accessible to users who have opted in to public visibility.

Tier and archetype filters

Filter the galaxy by tier range, archetype, or specific practices to focus on your area of interest.

Save specific views

Save a galaxy view with specific filters and zoom level as a bookmark on your profile.

A literal community map

Most social networks show you a feed or a list of users. Galaxy shows you the entire community as a single visual object — a 3D star field where every member has a location and every location means something. Your position reflects your perception dimension scores. Users with similar scores cluster together. Users with very different scores sit in different regions of the galaxy. The whole visualization is an embodied map of consciousness space.

How positions are computed

Every HYVE Tribe member takes a 100-question perception assessment during onboarding. The assessment produces a multi-dimensional score across twelve core consciousness dimensions. Galaxy uses a dimensionality-reduction algorithm (similar to UMAP or t-SNE) to project those twelve dimensions down to 3D space while preserving as much of the original structure as possible. The result is a 3D point for each user, with similar users placed near each other.

Clusters and archetypes

As you zoom out, natural clusters become visible in the galaxy. Tier-based clusters form because users of similar tier tend to have similar profiles. Archetype clusters form because users of the same archetype share certain dimensional patterns. You can turn filters on and off to highlight specific clusters — show me only the mystics, show me only tier 12+, show me only users who practice remote viewing. Each filter reshapes the visible galaxy.

Finding kindred spirits

One of the most common uses of Galaxy is finding users with profiles similar to your own. Click the "find me" button to locate your star, then explore the stars nearest to you. These are the users whose perception dimensions closely match yours — your natural peers on the platform. If those users have opted into public profiles, you can visit their Tribe page and potentially start a conversation. Many long-running HYVE Tribe friendships begin with someone finding their cluster in Galaxy.

Privacy and opt-in

Every star in Galaxy is anonymous by default. Hovering over a star shows only an abstract anonymous profile summary — tier range, archetype, general dimension pattern — not a name or direct identifier. Only users who have explicitly opted into public visibility on their profile settings are clickable for full profile access. This means you can explore the galaxy freely without exposing anyone who hasn't chosen to be exposed, and without exposing yourself until you decide to.

Seeing the bigger picture

Beyond finding individual users, Galaxy lets you see the shape of the HYVE Tribe community itself. How many users are in each tier? Where are the bottlenecks? Which clusters are growing? Which archetypes are rare? These macro-level views are useful for understanding the community as a living organism, not just a list of individual accounts.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data exposed in the galaxy?

Your star appears in the visualization, but no personally identifying information is shown on hover. Only users who have explicitly opted into public profiles can be clicked through to a visible profile.

How is my star position computed?

A UMAP-style dimensionality reduction takes your 12-dimensional perception scores and projects them to 3D space. Similar profiles cluster together automatically.

Does my position change over time?

Yes. As your perception dimension scores shift through practice and reassessment, your star position in the galaxy updates accordingly.

Can I see my friends?

Yes. Users you follow or have connected with are highlighted with a distinct marker when they appear in the view.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. Galaxy is responsive and supports touch navigation on phones and tablets. The experience is best on desktop for the full-size view.

Is there a 2D fallback?

Yes. A 2D projection is available for low-end devices or users who prefer a flat map over the 3D star field.

Is it free?

Yes. Galaxy is free for every HYVE Tribe account.
