About
The consciousness social network we wished existed.
HYVE Tribe is a consciousness-tiered social platform built around an 18-tier awareness system, a 100-question perception assessment, 13 training games, 6 research-grade labs, and a 48-set Rife frequency healing library. This page explains why we built it, how it is different from mainstream social media, and the research lineage behind it.
Our mission
Our mission is consciousness development through measurement, practice, and community. We believe awareness is a trainable faculty — not a fixed trait — and that the technologies of the last two decades have mostly been pointed in the wrong direction. Instead of attention-farming timelines, HYVE Tribe uses technology to help people measure their perceptual baseline, practice specific skills every day, and connect with others at a similar stage of growth.
We are consciousness maximalists in the sense that we believe the inner life is the actual territory. We are measurement-driven because intuition alone drifts. And we are community-oriented because no serious practice tradition has ever survived as a purely solo activity. HYVE Tribe is the place where these three commitments meet.
The problem with mainstream social media
Mainstream social networks are optimized for time-on-site and ad impressions. That single incentive shapes every product decision: push notifications are tuned for re-engagement, feeds are sorted for outrage and novelty, and user profiles are quietly converted into advertising inventory. The result is a set of platforms that reliably lower attention span, increase baseline anxiety, and reward performative outrage over patient thought.
For anyone trying to develop their awareness, this is a hostile environment. Daily meditation gets interrupted by notification pings. A quiet morning routine gets hijacked by infinite scroll. The very tools that were sold as “connection” produce measurable drops in wellbeing across large populations. HYVE Tribe exists because we did not want to keep using platforms that are structurally opposed to the kind of life we are trying to build.
- No advertising network. No behavioral profiling. No resale of user data.
- No algorithmic feed sorting on outrage or engagement metrics.
- No dark patterns, no infinite scroll traps, no vanity like-counts.
- No data mining — direct messages are end-to-end encrypted with HYVE Encryption.
How HYVE Tribe is different
HYVE Tribe is tier-based, not follower-based. Your profile is anchored to a measured consciousness tier from the 100-question perception assessment, and the matching engine suggests connections at a similar tier — so your feed is shaped by resonance, not virality. There are no “likes” in the engagement-farming sense. The primary social signal is a “blessing”: a token of attention you give to content you found genuinely nourishing.
Everything on the platform is measurement-driven. You can see your dimension radar expand across six perceptual axes. You can watch your tier move over months of practice. You can export your own data at any time. The 13 games, 6 labs, and Rife frequency library are all instrumented to feed the perception model, so your progress is legible and your practice is never guesswork.

The team and the founding story
HYVE Tribe is built by a small, deliberately small team of engineers, researchers, and long-time meditators. We came together in 2026 around a shared frustration: existing social tools were actively hostile to the kind of inner work we cared about. The first prototype was a simple perception test and a tier chart. The second added games and a feed. The current platform — 18 tiers, 13 games, 6 labs, 48 Rife frequency sets, end-to-end encryption, Signal Theory research, and the HyveAlpha oracle — is the result of two years of quiet iteration with a closed alpha community.
We are intentionally keeping the team small because the thing we most need to protect is focus. Nothing on the platform is shipped to juice a quarterly metric. We publish a public changelog so you can see every change as it lands.
Our philosophy
The operating philosophy of HYVE Tribe is simple: consciousness is trainable, growth is measurable, and community accelerates both. We lean on Signal Theory — the framing of consciousness as a layered signal-and-noise system — as a shared vocabulary that is rich enough to cover meditation, remote viewing, psi research, and everyday attention work without collapsing them all into one mushy term.
We deliberately refuse to pick a single tradition as the true one. The platform draws from Vedic, Buddhist, Taoist, Hermetic, and modern contemplative neuroscience sources. Where traditions disagree, we treat the disagreement as data, not heresy. Every user gets the same measurement framework; how you interpret your tier is entirely up to you.
Research lineage
HYVE Tribe stands on a long research lineage. We credit the sources openly because we believe the practice traditions deserve the attention:
- The Monroe Institute. Robert Monroe's work on Hemi-Sync binaural beats, focus levels, and consciousness exploration directly informs the Hemi-Sync lab and the astral projection game.
- The CIA Stargate program. The U.S. government's 20-year, 20-million-dollar psi research program — particularly the remote viewing protocols of Ingo Swann, Russell Targ, and Hal Puthoff — is the direct ancestor of our remote viewing game and the Psi Cards runs.
- Patanjali and the Yoga Sutras. The eight-limb model (ashtanga) and the yamas inform the dharma ethics engine and provide much of the higher-tier language in the 18-tier system.
- Royal Raymond Rife. Rife's frequency research anchors the Rife healing library, supplemented by the Consolidated Annotated Frequency List (CAFL) maintained by the hobbyist community.
- The Solfeggio tradition. 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852, and 963 Hz tones — plus 432 Hz as a modern addition — are included in the Rife library alongside the classical Rife protocols.
- The Schumann resonance. 7.83 Hz and its harmonics are represented in the Hemi-Sync lab for grounding and coherence practice.
- Modern contemplative neuroscience. Work by Dean Radin, Richard Davidson, Daniel Siegel, Judson Brewer, and the Center for Healthy Minds informs the perception test psychometrics.
None of these sources endorse HYVE Tribe; we stand on their shoulders voluntarily. If you want to go deeper on any of these lineages, the labs and the help center link out to primary sources.
Frequently asked questions
Who is behind HYVE Tribe?
HYVE Tribe is built by a small team of engineers, researchers, and meditators who wanted a social platform that rewards inner development instead of outrage. The platform takes explicit influence from Patanjali, Royal Rife, the Monroe Institute, the CIA Stargate program, Dean Radin, and modern contemplative neuroscience.
Is HYVE Tribe a religion or a cult?
No. HYVE Tribe is a non-denominational measurement and practice platform. The 18-tier system is a descriptive framework, not a dogma. We do not require any belief in a deity, guru, or specific metaphysics. The research lineage is broad by design.
Do you collect personal data?
We collect only the minimum data required to run your account and the perception assessment. There is no ad network, no data brokering, and no behavioral tracking sold to third parties. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted with HYVE Encryption.
Why an 18-tier system and not 7, 9, or 12?
Eighteen tiers give enough resolution to track real progress without becoming overwhelming. Each tier maps to a measurable cluster of responses on the 100-question perception assessment, so the number of tiers is the result of the test psychometrics, not an arbitrary choice.
How do I contact the team?
Email hello@hyvetribe.com for general questions, research@hyvetribe.com for Signal Theory research collaboration, or press@hyvetribe.com for media inquiries.
Can I contribute research or content?
Yes. We run an open research pool where anonymized perception data is available to qualified researchers, and we accept community lab submissions and Rife protocol contributions. See the help center and the labs page for more.
